How to annoy NPC’s – Keep Clicking on them!

This only works if they aren’t someone that you can actually talk/interact with. When you click on a NPC you get a random usually pleasant voice clip. ” How are you?” ” Good day to you” But if you keep clicking on them you get all sorts of other clips…. some examples below

Draeni
Male:
you must remember patience
you have other matters to attend to yes?
Do you require medication?
Even the patience of the draeni has its limits
The Naru frown on such behaviour
You are not normal

Female
You behave like a child
Who taught you to act like this
Is this how you amuse yourself
I belive i hear someone calling you

Blood Elf
Female:
You waste my time
I had little patience to begin with
It is a wonder you have lived this long
Ahhh you have a deathwish

Male
Mind yourself
You waste my time
Not very intelligent are you

Night Elf
Female

Have you nothing better to do?
Enough Already
Be Gone
Stop this nonsence

Orc
Female
I am not amused
You dispute my honor
I am getting angry
Are you challanging me?
Back off Whelp
Will you stop touching me

Officer Jaxon – SW City
“Im kinda busy
Forget something
Quit it
Whats your problem
Knock it off
Your getting in my Nerves

My Favourite has to be the  “Are you on medication… ?” and “its a wonder you have lived this long”

I always loved doing this in Warcraft. I love that they’ve brought it into World of Warcraft as well! 🙂 I like the “I had little patience to begin with” one, sounds so appropriate for a Blood Elf!

Even their ‘friendly’ greetings are a little abrupt.. “State your purpose”

Haha wow I never knew that they did that! Thanks for making me spend the last 2 hours checking it out 🙂

“Me not that kind of orc” ~ Orc Peon

I remember clicking on the sheep critters in Warcraft2 made them say “bah ram you” which was quite amusing!

The best one is from femme Gnomes.

    “Yes, you’re totally annoying.”

Haha that is hilarious I’m going to try it next time my boyfriend plays WoW!

Does the sheep still blow up when you click it too many times, too?

fun tip, somewhat related. go to westfall and spam /chicken macros while targetting a chicken in saldean’s farm. It will unlock a special quest where you have to give the chicken a special feed that you can buy from the nearby vendor. if you complete the quest, you are rewarded with a prairie chicken non-combat pet.

I tried that once, I clucked and I clucked… and someone nearby thought I was calling them a chicken, so i had to stop clucking and explain.. and then I gave up..

But wow.. what a response to a silly post – i feel sorry for all the NPC’s now – they are going to be annoyed even more 😛

Wow, you didn’t know this already?

Also, you should probably get an editor for your articles.

I used to do this in the old war craft games.

Actually, this isn’t really restricted to male or female. If I remember correctly, there are two voice-sets for each race of NPC, and a third for vendors. The lines are identical, regardless of gender. I just find different sets sound funnier on male/female alternately.

@Zensuro – I wasn’t expecting the influx of vistors I recieved, and all writers need an editor 🙂 I look back on some of my earlier posts and I see improvement, and as long as I keep improving then I’m on the right path, and besides its a blog not a scientific textbook – I do agree however that the way you present an idea is important regardless of how good the idea is and the only way to improve is to keep writing..

@Kadir – I checked through some of the voice rotations and while there are some cross overs like the blood elves “You waste my time” There does seem to be unique clips at least on the Draeni and BE’s –

Thanks to teaming up with a rather neurotic mage for “Ending Their World,” my draenei priest ended up getting thoroughly bitched at by Demolitionist Legoso.
