I left a bad Instance pug for a Pugg 10 man Naxx raid – Random invite from an ex ex ex guildy It was 80% Guild and 20% pug. They were up to Sapphiron.
7 Wipes later Sapphiron was dead – it was a good learning experience – I died the 1st time because I didn’t get behind that iceblock enough. I would swear I was standing behind it, and for the rest of the fights I only died when we all wiped. ( Hug the iceblock. Hug the iceblock.)
1 attempt and Kel’Thuzad was dead, and guess who topped DPS on Kel.. Me !
Since I’m not doing alot of raiding at the moment I asked for a damage metre as feedback – and I kicked buttocks! – I melted face! ( ok not by much.. but I did good! )
2nd was a Mage, 3rd Boomkin 4th Hunter 5th Shaman

Is that you? (From the achievements and being unguilded it seems)
With such a gear you can get to any guild. Go for it!
GRATZ!!
Did you use frost resist gear and if not how did you mitigate the damage from that blasted frost aura? We’ve only tried it once cuz the holidays made it difficult, but we’re going in there again tonight or next week after the reset.
Gratz!
I haven’t seen those two dead yet. This week perhaps, this week…
I’ll keep hugging the ice block in mind. 😀
@Gevlon… thanks I have tried to do my best with the gear I have access too, Juggling hit is getting interesting though – I lose one peice and my gear balance falls to bits..
@Kry – No frost resist sets for that, I have one crafted but not gemed and enchanted, I was told for the ten man I wouldnt need it. We did use a frost resist Aura, but that was only 130 resist the biggest problems we had in our wipes was getting the balance between staying spead out out as soon as she took the air so we weren’t within 5 yards of each other, and still being close enough to the rest of the team for when an iceblock came – I need to read some other strats because I think wow wiki has it back to front, the damage comes before the iceblock, not after it. ( I thinks.. well that was the theory I was surviving on.. ) What we were doing was working ( I never expected to even have a shot at Sapp for yonks) Its also important you stay out of the Chill – Blizzard. It hurts – an slows you down which can mean you get killed by the blast.
As for the constant ticking damage, our healers seemed to handle it, it was very mana intensive, I also keept my devouring plauge and VE up so that helped heal me, and my party.
@Ambros – Good luck!
