I bashed a target dummy for a little while last night and thought I would throw in some Shadow Word deaths for good measure when I could, but not necessarily on cooldown. I could never play with Shadow Word Death on a target dummy for long periods because I would not get healing from my Vampiric Embrace and Devouring plague, and so would be killing myself with no health regen.
Well good news for Shadow Priests, VE now works! I can Shadow Word death a target dummy and be healed from the rest of my Dps
I used to have this conspiracy theory that Shadow Word death was no longer a popular Shadow Priest spell because no one was able to test a proper rotation on the dummy without needing a healer to hot them every now and then.
I’m not sure when they fixed it though. I have actually never heard anyone complaining about it either but Yeah! I can now bash target dummys more.
