My place to Farm Lichbloom and Icethorn

I know farming is lame – but a Frost Lotus is going for upwards of 50 gold on my server at the moment so well worth it to sell,  after I have already made a stack of my own Flasks.

Doing something somewhat productively when you are multitasking like watching a Dvd on your other screen – makes the farming time better spent and while maybe ungoblin like, between Lotus’s, Icethorn, Lich blooms, and the Eternal Life’s I get out of it  it’s not a bad little cash cow place.

My herbalist does repetitive circles along this area. She used to do it on a ground mount because the circuit allows you within reason to do that,  and it was quicker on an Epic ground mount then an slow flyer,  I couldnt afford her epic flyer at the time as she was an alt,   but that was soon fixed.  The respawns are ok as long as no one else is farming and most people don’t keep going round,  they follow their own farming path that usually only crosses mine as they come down from the mountains.  I think it beats flying all over the country when you can just go in a circle around K3

You can see from the Gatherer screenshot the density of the possible spawn points for Lichbloom and Icethorn

Thanks for posting this screenshot! I’ll have to start farming here on my server (Hydraxis) with my herb-alt. Glad you found your screenshot directory 🙂

On Hydraxis, a Flask of Frost Wyrm goes for about 55g and a Frost Lutos goes for 60g – figure that out!

That’s because on average an elixir master crafts 2.5 flasks per frost lotus so in fact 1 frost lotus of 60g can yield more than 110g worth of flask 🙂

I guess my alchemist just sucks then…last night he only made 25 Spellpower Elixirs for the mats of 20. 😦

I found an awesome spot for herbs, when I was learning all the Inscription recipes. Was doing about 1-2 stacks per 5 mins, and there was rarely anyone nearby, so was a good place to farm. Happened to be a short flight from WG, so when I was done with WG, I would go farm for half an hour, worked really well. And yah, I got eternal life as well as frost lotus’ as well. Could easily make 300g/hr just from farming the mats, but ofc the end product would sell for more, thus turning into 500-750g and hour.

Shozalin basin, Is the best by far, even if people are always farming and u are fighting for the herbs, you can still make like 1000g, per hour…

Lichbloom goes for 100g a stack on my server currently, so I’m looking specifically to mass farm lichbloom. What’s the best place for this?

Lichbloom and Icethorn usually hang out together – your going to get both no matter where you farm

Farming is not lame! I don’t know who got this myth started. Buying materials on the auction house when they are cheap, and farming them when the are expensive is SMART. Making them into something even more expensive is even smarter! Farming is GOOD!

Ok i have to say it might work with a ground mount. Flying from herb to herb with 310% is too fast so you might want to expand your route.
