Things I can do…

I am good at turning up to raid on – line, on time

I have excellent attendance.

I always have enough gold for my own repairs.

I have never asked for anything from a guild bank

I provide, and can source materials for all my own enchants so never need to borrow, or have it provided for me.

I make enough gold for what I need, and what I want. ( except a new darkmoon card 😦 50k gold. Bleh.

I have a herbing/alchemy alt so I never have to ask to borrow a flask mid raid.

I am a cook and a fisher-elf so I have my own food if there is no feast.

Don’t wait until a food and flask check to remember to use either.

I try not to talk much in raid, and certainly not over the raid leader

I no longer bite to gender comments or girlfriend, bashing/chaining to kitchen comments

I will admit to mistakes.

I don’t wait for someone to rez me

It’s a pity none of that is a stacking buff that increases healing/dps or makes you play better.

So, basically you’re the perfect candidate to recruit – interested in a new, shiny 25man raidguild with loads of lovely people in it? =P

I need another ranged dps for my Friday/Saturday ten man; while I’m kind of looking for a hunter, a shadow priest with a healing offspec would be welcome. I won’t pretend we’re a hardcore raid, but we’re working on having a progression mindset, the guild is pretty awesome, and I love hanging with them. If you check out some of the recent entries at our blog you’ll see a few raid after action reports and our list of what we expect from raiders.

Well i have an “Holy Priest” and at the beggining i tought just like you… blizzard helped us a bit and i can tell that healing as become nice and doable :).
I tryed to gem ma priest with 1 intelect, 2 spirit and mastery… I use the rotation FH, FH GH (like this the greater heal will cast at the same speed as flash heal, the same goes if you use prayer of healing instead of greater healing)!
In Cataclysm the right glyphs, the right enchants and gems can realy make the difference. Professions are also very important, u can use intelect flasks or potion that can refill your mana in combat, u can cook int & sta.
