If you want a change of pace, there is a cave up in Eastern plaguelands that is also a really good place for critters. I randomly came across this cave while doing a quest chain up there, but was shocked by the number and respawn rate of the critters.

I’m miffed that they nerfed the exploding sheep in Elwynn Forest. Used to be if you killed him, you’d get credit for whichever sheep he blew up and took out as well. Not anymore…*sigh*
