Never alone

I find it kind of funny how you are never really actually alone in D3. Your really only alone up to level 8ish when you meet the Templar if you’re soling.

The Witch Doc gets an assortment of pets, and for a while I was running around with 4 zombie dogs, a gigantic zombie, and some random voodoo fetishes with spears that proc’ed from an ability  I was playing with – but none of them talk to me.

Puppet Master was an appropriate achievement. I had my gruesome family following me wherever I went.

Then I have my good Templar,  who reminds me of the noble pally class I used to be fond of.

Not only is he a good little follower.  He talks to you.  He talks about honor, he praises, you,  asks you about your family, and origins. When you give him gear he is polite and thanks you. Even though it’s scripted, and you really wish your character would on occasion tell him to mind his own bees-wax. When he levels you feel happy for him because he is happy, and I really love the touch where he is grateful for the upgrades.

But so much for playing alone.

Try the scoundrel for some comedy. If you have him with you when you slay the blacksmith’s wife, he yells “This is why I don’t get married!” as she turns! 😀

I haven’t really played solo, have a few friends and when I don’t have them to play with, I choose Public Server option.
