Charlie > Chuck – cause Charlie got a real Addon

Charlie Sheen has his own Wow  addon from Curse  called  * drum rollllllllll *  Charlie Sheen

Chuck has his own addon called Chuck Norris Facts but alas it does not compare, because Charlie has his own Crit tracking addon,  and that’s what the Charlie Sheen the Addon is all about

When you crit,  you win!  it keeps track of your highest ‘rock’ and you can pick the sound file you want to hear when you get your streak.

Sound Point 1

“I’m bi winning”

Sound Point 2

“That’s how I roll”

Sound point 3

“Dude! Can’t handle ii”

I had to set the scale for my Sound points lower on mine    I have several dots,  and I would often get a pretty close echo of ” I’m bi winning” rather then a streak because I think something hit in between the crits,

After a little while on the dummies trying to get my 3rd streak I gave up, and hearing I’m Bi winning” was sending me up the wall.

Its a fun little addon for about 20 sec  – and yes that 56524 was a MB crit

I’ll credit  this to my friend – who mentioned the charlie sheen  addon in passing when trying to convert me to another another add on called Pvp Sound and because we could hear the echo of the addon vent I suggested that they should make an add on with  voice clips of other people,  or people giving you positive reinforcement like

Well done!  Your awesome! Who’s a sexy beast!

Wait. Brain Storm…

Actually   I have a thought .  Someone make me a Old Spice Guy add on

Eg when you get get on your mount. ” Your chariot my lady.. ”

” Hello ladies.. ”
“I hope you like water.. ”

“You deserve cakes”

“Tell me what to do next”

Failing getting  an Old spice Clips in my addon I think a Scottish accent,or even a Kiwi accent  will do.

A Garden in Stormwind

I saw a plant all alone in Stormwind – so I sat down next to it using a lifegiving seed.

Then soon we had a small gathering.

Then we lost a few.

Ethical Treatment of Shadowfiends

fiend

I often take my little friend fiend for granted.  He never stays round for long,  pops up,  gives me mana, and then leaves me again.

There is never enough time to ask him if he is hungry or cold ( who knows what the weather in Northrend does to his poor skin and yes I am sure it’s a him.) I don’t know what he eats or drinks, or if he has a family.

Where do they come from?

Physically, they are the result of a spell we cast, but he has to come from somewhere.    Is it a summoning from an alternate dimension,  am I dragging him away from his favourite Tv show just so I can get him to smack a boss?

I wonder how he feels that I am using him as often as possible now, not just for mana, but for extra dps where practical

I propose the following as Guildlines for  ethically handling your Shadow Fiend

1. Be considerate when bringing your fiend out. Ask yourself Is it really necessary. Will you get enough use out of the fiend in that fight to justify it’s his use.

2. Avoid bringing the Shadowfiend out for demonstration or picture-taking opportunities. Flash lights hurt their eyes, and it’s cruel to treat them like circus animals

3. Thank your fiend, or cheer at it , at the very least wave – It has feelings too, by doing that you are recognising it’s importance and that you appreciate his efforts.

4. Name your fiend.  Giving him a name gives him an identity and will strengthen your relationship.  Refer to your fiend by its name when ever discussing him.  Eg ” Wow,  did you see how much damage Ralph did”    When questioned who Ralph is, explain that Ralph (or what ever name you call your fiend is his name.) and you would appreciate it if your raid members and guild members could extend him the same courtesy

5. Look after his care and welfare.  You are sending  him into dangerous circumstances and his health is important.  Shield him if you are able to protect him.

6.  Love your fiend.  NO – Not LOVE your fiend.   Love your fiend because they are your friend.   He chose you – when you summoned him from the depths of wherever he came from.   He came to you.   Feel privileged and honoured that he comes each time you call,  no matter the day or the time, or that maybe he really wanted to spend time with his family or go out, or be in the middle of eating dinner ect.

* Disclaimer – I have not named my fiend.  Thought if I could I would probably name it something distinguished and strong!  like Caddaric ( battle leader)  or Bhaltair  ( strong fighter)

Gnomes have four fingers – Trolls and Taurens Three

So off the Topic of shadow Priests and onto the topic of Hands!

While leveling up my Night Elf Priest, I often noticed how clumsy and un-attractive her hands were.  I am  greatful for the slim lined look that gloves give to her hands.  So I wondered about the other races and their hands..

and what have I learned

Gnomes only have four Fingers
Blood Elves wear nail polish
Trolls and Taurens have three fingers
Undead are the only race who’s fingers animate

They all have opposable thumbs which mean that they can grip things..  Lucky – or the whole weapon weilding thing might be a problem.

The prettiest hands belong to the Blood Elves,

The most disaportioned thumb to the rest of the fingers is the Night Elves

but the UGLIEST fingers have to belong to the Tauren.   I’m sorry.  They look all fingers and no palm. See !

Having Fun with Noggenfogger

After doing the Quest chain that ends with “The Thirsty Goblin” in Tanaris with Marin Noggenfogger   you are rewarded with x5 Noggenfogger exlirs.  When you drink it it gives you one of three effects.

-Slowfall for “12” seconds.
– Shrinking you for “10” minutes.
– Turning you into a Skeleton Form for “10” minutes,

But did you know that the Buffs you get can stack?  You can keep drinking the Noggenfogger untill you get both the Shrink Buff and the skelly buff. So my alt Zophina got to run around as a Mini Skelly.  After completing the quest you can then buy unlimited supplies from him…

and then because I felt like doing a tour – I dragged a friend out of the bank and Went to Iron Forge

and then did a very good job at hiding in the bushes in Stormwind

and then finally off to  Shatt

Guild Tauren Race, and Fancy Dress… Cows in Pink Tabards

It was rather interesting at the Hit Stats that my Last post about “20 Things you should know about shadow Priests”  created.   I even got random comments..  and critique and more spam.  I always get Insurance Spam – what do you get?

But I Digress.

Sunday Night we had an organised Guild event..   so about 36 of us created Level 1 Female Taurens for a Run to stormwind.   We had some great photo ops, and we created much confusion in Thunderbluff.   With some help of some Guild Horde Alts we had money enough for a Guild, and a Pink tabard.

A Herd of Female Taurens.. Don\'t we look sexy..!

We Run from Thunderbluff to regroup at the Alchemist trainer near Stormwind.  Theres an Art at running at level one.  We All Dinged level 2 by the time we got to Bootybay, and we had died so many times by the time we got to Elywn forest that none of us had weapons. If you die at the right spot ( or by chance) you can hop to a closer graveyard,  spirit rez and keep right on running.  The aim was to get your body inside the door of Goldshire Tavern – and then the second part was to see how long before we could getinto Stormwind..   some of our bodies are still on the bridge.  We didnt make it far.   I could not stop laughing the whole time.  Because we were all on vent we had movement syncronicity,   someone would say ” Dance with the moonkin.. ”  and we would run over to the poor confused moonkin and surround him.   When ever we saw another female tauren we would cheer as they are a dying breed – its like leveling a level 70 female dwarf – hardley anyone does it.    That makes me on principle want t level a Female Tauren..   But much fun and laughter was had.   Except when we got to our native home and people on Alliance flagged up and tried  ( and succedded in slaughtering some of us at the stormwind gates.  Even after we had a Real Alliance Guildy whisper them politely before hand and ask that they don’t spoil our fun, we are a respected guild on our server and had hoped that they wouldnt be Asshats.  Well they were and they then got alot of angrey tells from us when we logged onto our mains.

The 2nd part of the Fun was a Fancy Dress party….  We all gathered at the Inn at Darnassus where we would be least likely to be disturbed,  besides the odd random that tried  to steal our Runway.   I didnt win, a  Nakid Gnome in a Voodoo mask won..   but this was my outfit..

A Firey Wench.... with a Martial Shirt and a Admirals hat..

I started my show off in shadow with a Firey enchanted Skull mace and my Wand I looked like I had duel Fires.   The Photos a little blurry.. we all got drunk on ale afterwards….

It was a good night…. and I know at least the running of the bulls has already been done and probably a million other guild events similar..  but this was our run – and we had lots of fun.

this is the 1st Major guild event we have done since I’ve been in the guild,  but its things like this that make a great guild..  ( even if I can’t always get a raid spot…   )  There were prizes for First in the Inn at Goldshire,  for the best fancy dress  out of the GMs pocket…  and it took alot of organisation..  advertsiing..  motivating people to go..   to ta to the GM..

Things to do when Wow is down….

The sucky thing about  patches and maintance while playing Wow is Australia is that they tend to do it during our peak playing time on a Tues night
  Tues night is movie/drink/cleaning/sleeping
However if  like me you seek ways of feeding or at least sating your wow addiction  just enough that you can sleep and not wake in a cold sweat or being tempted to go to bed early just so you can log on for an hour before getting ready for work.

So things to do…

and then when you have done all that…    read Guild forums and some strats..

or you can always read me! https://pugnaciouspriest.wordpress.com/

AND if thats not enough… More things to do when wow is down
